The beds where extremely comfortable and the rooms where very confortable. Liked the little kitchen area and this and the bathroom where well stocked.
Awesome and friendly staff always helpful lovely beds totally comfortable loved the stay
Clean room, affordable and centrally located. All requests were granted: extra duvet, extra towels, retrieving GPS from valet parked car. All around good.
I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions over the last 4-5 years and it consistently meets my expectations. For the business traveller it represents excellent value.
My friend and T really appreciated the service and friendliness of the staff but what imopressed us the most were the beds. so lovely to sink into.Only one disappointment, we arrived back on Saturday night after a busy day and looking forward to Midsomer Murders on Prime but it wasn't available. Overall, though we were very satisfied
As mentioned above -Prime not being available
The hotel room had a small kitchen unit
I booked 2 rooms and received the appropriate confirmation of this from you but when we arrived the hotel only had one room. It was only after pressing the hotel strongly that they found another room.
Good clean comfortable room in a good location Bus stop for airport bus stops at door.
Friendly and helpful staff, didn't have to wait, well appointed great room - little things like putting the shampoo in the shower instead of at the basin
Location excellent for theatre, art gallery and University - which were our destinations for the weekend.
The room was on the 3rd floor facing Queen Street. There was no doubleglazing on the windows and the traffic noise was bad. Difficulty sleeping.
The cafe MLC was excellent, the room service was outstanding
Would prefer to be able to see the tv from bed
Since the hotel was in front of the stop of an airport bus, it was very convenient.
Since the kitchens of the hotel were only a microwave oven and a pot, it was inconvenient to cook.
The hotel was a walk away from the show we went to at the Civic Theatre and had a bus stop directly out front.
When my grand daughter (7years) and I went to book in at about 3.30 after a very long day of a flight from Christchurch then bus trips and shopping, we were told that our room was not ready and we would have to come back in 40 minutes! The young lady did offer to keep our luggage and it would be put in our room when ready, but this did not happen! We were exhausted and just needed to put our heads down before the show we were attending later that evening. We were given the excuse that they were booked out the night before, but we were told that we could book in at 2pm so I do feel that perhaps more cleaning staff should of been employed. We were also told that we were on the quiet side of the hotel. Maybe I was expecting too much, afterall we were in the city, but I didnt get much sleep as one window would not shut properly.
Very central, lovely soft bed!
The fridge smelt a bit odd.
